We started ChaCha Boocha out of our own frustration with bottled kombucha in India: heavy glass, vinegar tastes from hot delivery vans, and the hassle of constant refrigeration. We wanted real, sparkling kombucha that fits in your pocket and tastes crisp every single day.
The Problem with Bottled Kombucha
Like many people discovering fermented foods, we fell in love with kombucha. It felt cleaner than aerated sugary soft drinks, lighter on the stomach, and gave a natural post-meal digestive lightness.
But living in India, buying bottled kombucha was an ordeal. Ordering glass bottles online often meant broken shipments, leakages, or live bottles turning sour and vinegary during courier transit in 40°C heat. How We Cracked the Sachet Format
We spent months working alongside food scientists and master tea blenders to solve one question: Can you freeze-crystallize authentic, slow-brewed kombucha without killing the live probiotic bacteria?
The answer is ChaCha Boocha. We brew authentic whole-leaf black and green tea with active SCOBY cultures, ferment it naturally, and gently micro-granulate it with real fruit extracts (lemon, pineapple, strawberries, and ginger). The approx. 1 Million CFU live cultures remain dormant inside airtight sachets until you pour them into chilled water.
